At the 2011 E3 convention, Disney brought over several artists and was doing sketches for everyone who waited in line. Unfortunately I did not catch this artist's name, but they called her the "princess expert", she mainly did princess characters as well as Winnie the Pooh characters. The staff mentioned that she has been an animator for Disney for decades and is a high level veteran.
The Little Mermaid is my favorite Disney movie of all time (also the movie that began the Disney Renaissance). I was so glad that she was willing to draw Ariel for me and the sketch is absolutely beautiful. Im still waiting for this movie to be released on blu-ray, but the release is still listed as TBA =(
