I got this cute sketch of Domo-kun at Comic Con 2012. Tsuneo Goda is the creator of Domo-kun and the character originally appeared on various stop-motion shorts on NHK. Im not sure how this character became popular in the USA, but I do like it...even though I dont know why. I think it was a year or two ago when I started seeing Domo-kun as prizes for carnival games and advertised on 7-Eleven coffee cups.
