I am actually a huge fan of TMNT and have read all of the original Eastman and Laird comics. Unlike the cartoon and movies that we are all familiar with, the original comics were much darker and serious. It was bloody and people died. I am still angry over the latest live action movie.
Cold Steel got this for me at Japan Expo 2014 when he found out that Felipe was willing to do TMNT sketches. Felipe Smith has the special distinction of being an American who has published manga in Japan, which is not a common thing. He is the character designer for the CG TMNT cartoon that is airing on Nickelodeon.
