Shinji Aramaki was at San Diego Comic Con 2012 to promote the new CG Starship Troopers: Invasion movie. Unfortunately I am not a Starship Troopers fan and I was one of like 3 other people who were at the signing for his anime work. The 3 of us were at the front of the line so I think they assumed we were the biggest Starship Troopers fans there since no one else lined up for anywhere as long as we did.
Shinji Aramaki has worked as a directer and mechanical designer for many anime series including one of my favorites, Bubble Gum Crisis. I was kinda surprised that he was able to draw Priss's hardsuit from memory considering how old the series is.
