I was surprised to see Hidetaka Tenjin announced as a guest at Macross World Con 2013 considering how small the con is. Hes a highly skilled mecha artist who is responsible for a lot of the highly detailed box art for mecha models and figures. He has worked on the mechanical art for the Macross Zero and Macross Frontier series. This sketch is of the VF-25F Valkyrie Super Mode. As he was working on the sketch he said that the super mode was very difficult to draw.
