It turns out that Eiji Shiroi, the character designer for the first few Samurai Spirits arcade games, is a huge fan of American comics. She attended Wondercon 2018 and was doing commissions at her artist alley booth. Rimururu is a character that first appeared in Samurai Spirits 3 and is the younger sister of Nakoruru. Rimururu, along with her sister Nakoruru, were characters I actually used when I played Samurai Spirits in the arcade so its no surprise that I requested a commission of this character.
